Marine mammals can be observed in French Polynesia. The humpback whale or megaptera is visible in all the archipelagos. Around the Society Islands, we will observe the spinner dolphin, the narrow-beaked dolphin, the Blainville mesoplodon, the tropical pilot whale. The bottlenose bottlenose dolphin is mainly visible in the Tuamotus. Sperm whales have been observed several times around Moorea, as well as the Fraser's dolphin.
